Stress is the unique way you react to change.

  • Stress in itself is not a negative thing—without it, life would be dull and unexciting. It adds flavor, challenge and opportunity to our life. Too much though can affect your physical and mental well-being.
  • We are going to talk about what things you find stressful, how you know when you are stressed, and some things to help manage it. We will:
    • Define stress.
    • Identify sources of stress.
    • Identify symptoms of stress.
    • Use short-term coping strategies to deal with stress in the moment.
    • Develop and use long-term strategies to reduce overall stress levels.
