William Coscarelli suggests there are four preferred decision-making styles:

These four styles can be broken down into two factors impacting decision-making:

  • Spontaneous vs. Systematic – How data is gathered
  • Internal (Thinking) vs. External (Talking) – How data is processed

Each person processes along these two factor lines which determines how they process information and come to conclusion.
