Technical Skill-Building Opportunities at OSU

This module is designed to provide you with direction on building your resume skill set so that it includes both technical and transferable skills. It’s important to keep in mind that the skills you acquire while engaging in either of the two experience areas may enable you to acquire skills from both skill sets. For example, you may acquire team building skills (a “transferable” skill) while working in an internship (typically designated as a “technical” skill building experience).

To help you differentiate the two skill experience areas, we have grouped them into two lessons for your convenience.

In this lesson, we will examine those relative/practical experiences that you may want to consider when building your technical experiences:
